How you would actually start

1. 🔍 Check whether the promise holds

   “Rent a flat, go to the supermarket, have a local coffee shop. Actually live there.” That is the pitch. Spend an hour on first-hand accounts rather than listicles — what it costs, how long it really takes, and what people wish they had known.

2. 🗓️ Decide what "started" would look like

   No deadline is real here. The list is a prompt, not a schedule. Name the smallest thing that would count as having begun, and do that one.

3. 🪜 Find the small version first

   There is almost always a one-afternoon version. Do that before committing money or telling anyone.

   An intention you have not written down is a mood. A list you revisit is a decision you keep making.
